Community & Faith · Information architecture · Web design · WordPress development
A calm, structured digital home bringing worship, community life, hospitality, donations and an extensive resource library together.
The opportunity
Holy Cross Abbey serves people locally and much further afield. Some visitors arrive to join prayer or watch the live webcam; others want to learn about hospitality, vocation or the community’s history. The site also supports homilies, biblical readings, prayer requests, donations, news and an online shop.
The challenge was to organise that breadth without losing the sense of welcome and reflection at the heart of the community.
Strategy
Create direct routes for worship, hospitality, community life, vocation, resources and support.
Bring the live webcam, prayer times, homilies and biblical readings into an accessible content structure.
Use repeatable WordPress content patterns so the community can maintain news, readings and resources over time.
